1. Introduction
This Refund Policy governs refunds for courses and services purchased through VGI Skill Lab, which is powered by Variphi Gen Innovation Private Limited ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"). By purchasing a course or service from us, you agree to this Refund Policy. This policy is designed to ensure fairness for both students and Variphi Gen Innovation Private Limited while maintaining the integrity of our educational offerings.
2. Company Information
VGI Skill Lab is operated by Variphi Gen Innovation Private Limited, a company incorporated under the laws of India. All course sales, refunds, and customer service are handled by Variphi Gen Innovation Private Limited. All refunds will be processed by Variphi Gen Innovation Private Limited in accordance with this policy and applicable Indian laws.
3. Refund Eligibility
Refunds are available for course purchases within 7 days of the purchase date, provided that: (a) the course content has not been significantly consumed (less than 25% completion as tracked by our system); (b) no digital certificate or credential has been issued for the course; (c) the refund request is submitted through our official support channel at connect@vgiskill.ai with your order number and reason; and (d) the course is not marked as non-refundable at the time of purchase. Refund eligibility is determined at the sole discretion of Variphi Gen Innovation Private Limited.
4. Refund Process
To request a refund, please contact our support team at connect@vgiskill.ai with the following information: (a) your order number or transaction ID; (b) the course name; (c) the reason for the refund request; and (d) any supporting documentation if applicable. We will acknowledge your request within 2 business days and review it within 5-7 business days. If approved, refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase. For bank transfers, please allow additional processing time.
5. Non-Refundable Items
The following items are not eligible for refunds: (a) Courses that have been completed more than 25% as tracked by our system; (b) Digital certificates, credentials, or badges that have been issued; (c) Courses purchased more than 7 days ago; (d) Bundled course packages where one or more courses have been significantly accessed (more than 25%); (e) Any promotional, discounted, or free courses marked as non-refundable at the time of purchase; (f) Courses purchased during special sales or promotional periods where refunds are explicitly excluded; (g) Corporate or enterprise bulk purchases unless otherwise agreed in writing; and (h) Any add-on services or features purchased separately.
6. Partial Refunds
In certain circumstances, Variphi Gen Innovation Private Limited may offer partial refunds at its discretion. This includes cases where: (a) technical issues prevent you from accessing course content and we are unable to resolve them; (b) there are significant discrepancies between the advertised course content and what is actually delivered; (c) course materials are substantially incomplete or defective; or (d) other exceptional circumstances warranting a partial refund. Partial refund amounts are determined on a case-by-case basis and will be communicated to you in writing.
7. Processing Time and Method
Once your refund request is approved by Variphi Gen Innovation Private Limited, the refund will be processed within 5-7 business days. The time it takes for the refund to appear in your account depends on your payment provider and may take an additional 5-10 business days. Refunds are issued to the original payment method used for the purchase. For credit/debit card payments, refunds typically appear within 5-10 business days. For bank transfers, refunds may take 7-14 business days. We are not responsible for delays caused by payment processors or financial institutions.
8. Course Access After Refund
Upon approval of your refund request, your access to the course will be immediately revoked. You will no longer be able to access course materials, videos, assignments, quizzes, or any associated resources. Any certificates, credentials, or badges earned will also be invalidated and removed from your profile. You agree to cease using any downloaded course materials after receiving a refund. Continued use of course materials after a refund may result in legal action.
9. Currency and Fees
All refunds are processed in the same currency as the original purchase (primarily Indian Rupees - INR). Refund amounts will equal the amount paid, minus any transaction fees that cannot be recovered. If your payment method charges foreign transaction fees or currency conversion fees, those are not refundable as they are charged by your financial institution, not by Variphi Gen Innovation Private Limited.
10. Dispute Resolution
If you are not satisfied with our refund decision, you may contact us at connect@vgiskill.ai for further review. We are committed to fair resolution and will work with you to address any concerns. For escalated disputes, please provide detailed documentation and allow us 10-15 business days for a comprehensive review. If we are unable to resolve the dispute, you may pursue remedies available under Indian law. All disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
11. Special Circumstances
We understand that special circumstances may arise, such as medical emergencies, family emergencies, or other unforeseen events. If you believe your situation warrants an exception to our standard refund policy, please contact us at connect@vgiskill.ai with detailed information about your circumstances, including supporting documentation where applicable. Variphi Gen Innovation Private Limited will review each case individually and may offer refunds, course credits, or extensions at its sole discretion. We are committed to working with students facing genuine hardships.
12. Course Credits and Transfers
In some cases, instead of a refund, we may offer course credits that can be applied toward future course purchases. Course credits are valid for 12 months from the date of issuance and are non-transferable. We may also offer the option to transfer your enrollment to a different course of equal or lesser value, subject to availability and our approval. Course credits and transfers are offered at the sole discretion of Variphi Gen Innovation Private Limited.
13. Changes to Refund Policy
Variphi Gen Innovation Private Limited reserves the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. The refund policy in effect at the time of your purchase will apply to your transaction. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Material changes will be communicated to users via email or website notification.
